Over the past 9 years Thomas has authored or co-authored over 100 contributions that helped drive many of the E2EA WGs important technical reports. Besides being the driving force behind TR-147. Thomas has provided influential input to a broad range of TRs including TR-101, TR-144, TR-147, TR-156, TR-177, and TR-187 just to name a few.

The Membership and Nominations Committee of the Broadband Forum Board of Directors accepts nominations each quarter. Award winners are selected based on their history with the Broadband Forum and the work they've accomplished. All member companies are encouraged to nominate people who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their respective areas, and who have changed the face of broadband and the Broadband Forum.
