Visa Information:

Visas cannot be obtained at the border or at the airport. The average time to obtain a Visa is two (2) weeks, however this will vary depending on location. If you will need an invitation for the Broadband Forum meeting, please contact Gabrielle Bingham at help@broadband-forum.org or +1.510.492.4020.

Please be aware the each country has different requirements as to how to apply for an international business Visa. Please check with your local consulate to get the most accurate information about obtaining a Visa for your specific country.

Broadband Forum Discount Rates for the Radisson Blu:
Single 120,00 Euro and Double 130,00 Euro, rate includes breakfast (rate does not include tax).
To be guaranteed this discounted rate, reservations must be made by Friday, February 17, 2012.

**Note: If reservations are made with a travel agency, the Broadband Forum will not be able to assist in adjusting room rates as the hotel has special agreements with each travel agency. For the Broadband Forum to get involved, you must make your reservations as stated above.

Distance to Hotel - Dubrovnik (Cilipi) International Airport (DVB)- 21.2 miles / 34.2 km

The Radisson Blu has an onsite agency, Korkyra who can organize transportation and excursions for hotel guests. To view Korkyra's website please click here.

The Korkyra agency can arrange travel from the airport to the hotel (see estimated fees below), please contact them by e-mail at transfers@korkyra-dubrovnik.com.

Korkyra fees are from the Dubrovnik (Cilipi) International Airport (DVB) to the hotel Radisson Blu:

1-3 people, cost 350.00 HRK (about $65.00 USD)
4-7 people, cost 450.00 HRK (about $80.00 USD)
8-18 people, cost 950.00 HRK (about $170.00 USD)

Please note: The local taxis should cost approximately the same as the transfers above provided by Korkyra, but it will depend on each taxi driver and if they charge an extra "fee".

Getting Around Town:

Distance from Hotel to Old Town Dubrovnik - 10.5 miles / 16.5 km

Transportation - Old Town to or from Hotel

Until the end of March the hotel is offering a free shuttle to and from Old Town twice a day. The shuttle bus accommodates up to 20 people, so please be sure to book a seat at the Korkyra office located close to the lobby within the Radisson Blu hotel. The free shuttle bus schedule is listed below.

If you would prefer to reserve a private car thru Korkyra (for city transfers) the estimated cost is 170.00 HRK (seats 4 people) or for a minivan it's about 250.00 HRK (seats 7 people). Please note the estimated costs listed above are for one way transfers.

Registration Information:

**To register for the meeting, please click here.

Pre-registration meeting fee due on or before Monday, March 5, 2012 at 5:00pm PT:

• $430 USD for Principal and Associate Members to attend Keynote Address and Working Group Meetings.
• Fees include lunch. (The meeting fee is for all attendees including those staying in the hotel.)

Late Fee:

• There will be a $100 USD late fee for those that register after the Monday, March 5th deadline.
• For those registered before Monday, March 5, 2012 but WITHOUT PAYMENT will be considered late if payment is not received before the March 5th deadline.

Refund Policy:

• Cancellations received on or before Monday, March 5th: FULL REFUND
• Cancellations received after Monday, March 5th: 50% REFUND

Contributions:

Q112 Annual Meeting Contribution Deadline: Monday, March 5, 2012 at 5:00pm PT.

To create a new document:

• Choose "Create" under the Document menu
• Enter the title, working group, etc. information into the appropriate fields
• Click the "Save" button
• You will then be given a document number. You have as long as you need to upload the document; once a document number is assigned it cannot be given to anyone else.
• Return to the record for your document
• Choose the "Upload File" link under the Document Options Menu
• Select the type of file you will be uploading
• Click the "Browse" button to select your document.
• Click the "Upload" button.

All pre-registered attendees and late on-site registrants must check-in at the Broadband Forum desk in the hotel to receive meeting materials and name badge.
