Monday, September 15, 2014

  • 8:00am - 12:00pm: Birds of a Feather (BoF) - NFV
    This will be an interactive BoF on NFV discussing: how we work with the NFV ISG, how we interact with Open Source software, and we are also soliciting contributions for new NFV work proposals and input into SD-340 "Stage 1 introduction of NFV in MSBN" which has been initiated in SIMR.
    Please Note: There will not Service Provider Action Council (SPAC) session during this meeting
  • 12:30pm - 2:00pm: Keynote by Jan Holm of Lyse Smart, Opening Plenary and Lunch
  • 2:30pm - 6:30pm: IETF LMAP WG Interim Meeting (BBF members are invited to stop by.)

Tuesday, September 16, 2014

  • 7:00am - 8:00am: Navigating & Contributing to the Broadband Forum
  • 8:00am - 6:00pm: Sessions on Broadband Performance Metrics
    The morning sessions will cover WT-304 Straw Ballot Comment resolution (timings dependent of course on contribution volume)
    The afternoon sessions will be a joint workshop between BBF and IETF LMAP WG to include discussions on work outside of the LMAP charter, remaining gaps where work may be needed and decisions on which organizations will take the lead for each item

Q314 Meeting Contribution Deadline: Monday, September 8, 2014 at 5:00pm PT.

To create a new document:

  • Choose "Create" under the Document menu
  • Enter the title, working group, etc. information into the appropriate fields
  • Click the "Save" button
  • You will then be given a document number. You have as long as you need to upload the document; once a document number is assigned it cannot be given to anyone else.
  • Return to the record for your document
  • Choose the "Upload File" link under the Document Options Menu
  • Select the type of file you will be uploading
  • Click the "Browse" button to select your document.
  • Click the "Upload" button.


Visa Information:

Visas cannot be obtained at the border or at the airport. The average time to obtain a Visa is four (4) weeks, however this will vary depending on location. If you will need an invitation for the Broadband Forum meeting, please contact Gabrielle Bingham at help@broadband-forum.org or +1.510.492.4020.

Please be aware that each country has different requirements as to how to apply for a Visa. Please check with your local consulate to get the most accurate information about obtaining a Visa for your specific country of residence.

Pre-registration meeting fee due on or before Monday, September 8, 2014 at 5:00pm PT:

  • $450 USD for Principal and Associate Members to attend general and committee meetings.
  • Fees include lunch. (The meeting fee is for all attendees including those staying in the hotel.)

Late Fee:

  • There will be a $100 USD late fee for those that register after the Monday, September 8th deadline.
  • For those registered before Monday, September 8, 2014 but WITHOUT PAYMENT, your registration will be considered late if payment is not received before the September 8th deadline.

Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations received on or before Monday, September 8th: FULL REFUND
  • Cancellations received after Monday, September 8th: 50% REFUND
