Multitasking seems to be the theme for the technical working groups this quarter, as each is hard at work on multiple Working Texts simultaneously, with aggressive timelines tied to many. Pending approval, there are also some strong deliverables coming out of Philadelphia.

Upcoming Plugfest Information
The Eighth DSL Forum ADSL2/2+ System Integrator Plugfest
September 12-16, 2005

The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory's (UNH-IOL) ADSL Consortium will be hosting the Eighth DSL Forum ADSL2/2+ System Integrator Plugfest the week of September 12, 2005. The Plugfest will be held at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory's facility located at 121 Technology Drive, Suite 2, in Durham, NH 03824.

This Plugfest is an opportunity for ADSL2 and ADSL2+ system integrators to test the interoperability of their implementations based on ITU-T G.992.3 and ITU-T G.992.5, respectively. This event will allow multiple system integrators, both DLSAM/CO and modem/CPE, to conveniently test their implementations in a single location with a common focus, as determined by the test plan.

The First DSL Forum TR-069 InterOperability Plugfest
October 3-7, 2005

the week of October 3, 2005. The Plugfest will be held at the University of New

The DSL Forum presents special one day tutorials on DSL in parallel with the DSL Forum meetings. Open to all, this is a tutorial on what is DSL, how DSL works, what are the issues in working with DSL, who are the players, and where are the business opportunities. The next tutorial will take place during the 3rd quarter meeting on Monday, September 19th at the Crowne Plaza - Center City in Philadelphia, PA.

DSL Service Provider Action Council Meeting

Presented by the DSL Forum, the DSL Service Provider Action Council is intended for Service Provider executives, managers, and network planners to provide collective leadership and direction to drive the DSL industry toward mass-market success. This conference is an active, hands-on event, which will be driven by you, the Service Providers. DSL Summit

The DSL Forum is proud to announce that the keynote address will be given by Eric Small, Senior Vice President of Network Planning at BellSouth Communications. Mr. Small will be sharing an overview of the evolving broadband market at BellSouth, as well as his vision of DSL-enabled services such as IPTV, VoIP, and integrated wireless/wireline services.
