Broadband Forum’s Broadband Access Seminar Series (BASe) North America continues to educate and inspire the market to industry standards, best practices and technology advancements across the entire broadband network and service delivery. Continuing BASe’s focus in bringing together in a neutral environment service providers, analysts, and vendors to offer thought leadership and guidance for future technologies and industry direction.

In this 4-hour workshop hosted by the Broadband Forum we gather network provider and vendor thought leaders that are inspiring network investment for the next generation of broadband services. Special focus on broadband service networks that deliver both the speed and reliability required by subscribers and the efficiency and intelligence to ensure today’s gigabit and tomorrows intelligent multi-gigabit broadband that enables new valuable subscriber services.

1:00-2:45pm:  State of Broadband Access and Future Technology Advancements and Investment Opportunities

Workshop focused on the technology options from today’s PON networks to future 25/50/100Gig PON preparation and the inbuilding connectivity options. Additional focus on how to ensure a multi-service access environment with inherent QoE to meet the demands for a multi-service residential, business, mobile and IOT/smart city network

Session 2

3:15–5:00pm: Inbuilding Connectivity and Managed User Services

Session focused on the technology advancements, industry standards and best practices in delivering new realized monetized services from within the home or business all the way across the intelligent network to the hosted cloud or data center.
