The Forum and its directors, composed of many of the leading service providers, systems and software vendors, and ecosystem participants, are constantly taking the pulse of the broadband industry an introducing initiatives that position the Forum for the future.
From fostering the proliferation of cutting edge access technologies like Gfast and next generation PON, to embracing agile YANG and Open Source software models, to liaising with complementary standard bodies, to reimagining TR-069 in an IoT world, to anticipating fixed-mobile convergence in a 5G world, the Broadband Forum has a host of initiatives underway that are paving the way for the future of broadband, and is constantly adding more.
